What this site does
Skate3Browser.app is an independent guide and launch page for browser skating projects. We write setup, controls, compatibility and performance notes. We do not develop the embedded engine, operate its multiplayer service, or distribute the original console game.
Project credits
- SK8-ENGINE and contributors: the Rust/Bevy skating engine.
- dumbad and the reverse-engineering community: foundational research and tools credited by the engine project.
- andrewnakas / Skate 3 clean room: the WebAssembly/WebGPU build embedded here, its asset pipeline, touch controls and web hosting.
- Kenney Mini Skate: the CC0 kit used by the web project’s original KenneyPark.
- Electronic Arts / Black Box: the original Skate 3 game.
Evidence and limitations
We link primary project documentation and label short functional checks separately from benchmarks. Current checks cover desktop Chrome iframe rendering and keyboard movement in KenneyPark. They do not cover physical mobile devices, every gamepad, online play, retail-file conversion, or every map.
The preview image is a screenshot captured from the web build, showing KenneyPark. Fonts: Barlow Condensed and DM Sans, distributed through Google Fonts under open font licenses.
Corrections and issues
For bugs in the embedded engine, use the relevant upstream project’s issue tracker. For a correction to this guide, use the linked primary documentation to check the current upstream behavior; a site contact channel has not yet been published.
